Oh Christmas tree and a little bit of Santa

Snow last night! Me telling her that this is not the real Santa...but a helper!
Her saying .."Oh yeah?"
But I want to meet the REAL Santa...
Well I guess, he will do:)
Huggin by the tree
She is
so tired here, but still so cute:)
Love this pic of Parker and Dad
The only photo that kind of turned out. She wanted to be free!
Here are some recent holiday pics with our favorite little girl. It took us forever to try and get a family pic in front of the tree! Parker was looking everywhere and talking...not to mention it was past her bedtime. This past weekend we also went to see Santa. She got to wear her "boots with the fur." Yes some lady in line in front of us said that to us...so funny, made me think of Rothie!!!
Anyways, we are super busy as I am sure you are all this holiday. We went to our friends fantastic murder mystery party this past weekend. It was themed "Deadwood" this year and we had to dress up circa 1800's. SO FUN. Matt and Kristin Eastman did a wonderful job hosting again and we will look forward to this party every year. We already found out that next years theme is "Caddy Shack." Think of all the fun outfits for that party! I will post pics once I get them.... I brought our camera and it died right when we got there! So bummed. I did take some video with our Flip so if I have time I will post.
For now, I am off to lunch in our winter wonderland here in Wenatchee. We got 6 inches last night and it is snowing again right now! Love.it.

Daddy and Parker on the last flight
Monday night at 6:30pm after a LONG weekend:) P.S. this is my FAVORITE thing to do with her

Well, once again it is catch up time. Here are some pics from our wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with Kevin's Mom Debbie and our friend Hoai from Portland. It was the first turkey I have ever cooked and I wanted to brine it. So we soaked it for 24 hours before we cooked it. Then Kevin made two pies and Debbie and I made the rest. IT WAS SO GOOD. We will brine every year now! Loved it:) Isn't it funny how for Thanksgiving everyone cooks for hours on end only to sit and eat all in 20 minutes! Thank you Debbie and Hoai for all your help:)

Last weekend was busy. We made a day trip to Portland and back with Parker and then had two holiday party/functions to attend. Our flight left Wenatchee on Fri at 6am and we changed planes in Seattle and then arrived in PDX at 8:20am. We then left Sat morning and did the same trip back. Parker rode 4 planes in 24 hours and was A-mazing. She went with the flow, was so curious and smiley at everyone, and never cried! I think we have a little traveler on our hands. Kevin and I were talking about how we can't take wait to take her everywhere, Italy, New York...Disneyland...camping! OH how I can't wait for these wonderful adventures to start.

One last thing, Parker has officially grown out of 90% of her newborn clothes! I filled up a rubbermaid bin full of stuff that doesn't fit. It made me kind of sad. She also started sleeping in her crib on Mon night. After we got back from Portland and she slept in the pak-n-play, she wasn't too fond of her bassinet anymore. She is for sure a crazy squirmer. They said at daycare that the current 4 and 5 month old babies do not move as much as she does in her crib. She likes to be free for sure. So now, in 1 week, no more newborn clothes, no more newborn diapers, and no more sleeping in mom and dads room.....It is going TOO fast!
Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season and staying warm.

Been SO BUSY...

Sorry I have been bad with the blog the past 3 weeks! BUT, I have some good excuses. Back to work full time now, Parker started daycare this week, we cooked our first Thanksgiving turkey dinner and had Kevin's Mom here and our good friend Hoai from Portland. I have some great pics of Thanksgiving and our Turkey and some of Parker too. I just need to download them to our computer still. But here is one from this morning on my phone. We are getting ready to leave for daycare and work in the morning. I love my mornings with her. We usually have about three hours together getting ready. Here's what it looks like:

1. Wake up around 5-5:30 and pump

2. Get her bottles ready for daycare

3. Eat my cheerios

4. Parker usually wakes up on her own between 5and 5:30

5. Change her diaper and get her dressed for the day

6. Make sure her diaper bag is stocked with changes of clothes, burp clothes/blankie, and toys

7. Feed her and burp

8. Bring her into the bathroom and she sits in her boppy bouncer while I shower and get ready

9. After I am done showering and getting ready we go feed the dogs and cat

10. We then load up the car with all my bags (diaper bag, pump bag, lunch bag and purse!)

11. Lastly I load her up in her car seat and OFF WE GO (goal to be out of the house by 8)!!

We are a great little team in the morning!! Daddy leaves really early for work so it is just her I in the morning. LOVE my mornings even if they are early.

Here is a pic of us between step 9 and 10:)

Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season. We decorated the house last night too...now we just need the tree!

We are off to fly to Portland for a quick trip this weekend. Just imagine how much time it takes her/us to get ready for daycare/work....imagine us tomorrow morning getting ready for our 6 am flight! It is going to be an early one!!!!!

At work...

Picture from my phone, bad quality. But Parker is in her swing in my office.
Flowers sent from Kevin:)

I am at work with Parker and she is fast asleep in her swing:) Love her being here with me. Yesterday was my first day back and it went really well. I was really tired when I got home, but overall it was good to be back.

The best part of my day, besides Parker being here, was the surprise of flowers sent to me from Kevin.

Best. Husband. Ever.

Totally made me cry.

Love you Kevin, always and forever.

3 month photos

Usually I am late posting these by a week, but I have a chance today on her 3 month bday to post her pics. SO much has changed and happened these past few weeks.

She is totally aware of who we are and can now see Kevin and I from quite some distance. Let me tell you how amazing that is, too watch her little head and eyes follow us around the room!

She SMILES all the time at me and it just melts my heart! She has become such a little mover and kicker too.

During belly time, she can completely lift her rear in the air like she is going to crawl on all fours. It is so funny as she gets so frustrated when she doesn't move forward. She grunts too!

She talks ALL the time now! It is soooo cute. I swear she can say hi. I posted a little video below of it. What a sweet little voice she has:)

She LOVES her books now especially her Diddly Doo book. She gets so worked up and makes these funny sounds and moves her arms and hands really fast when I read to her. hilarious:)

She sleeps up to 8 hours a night. As she puts herself to bed between 7 and 8, she still gets up 1 or 2 times to eat.

She is slowly growing out of her newborn clothes and diapers. I think this might be the last bag of N diapers before she graduates to 1's. Makes me kind of sad as this is going way to fast.....

I go back to work tomorrow, half days and I get to bring her in for awhile. I think this will really help with my transition. However, I never knew how hard this would be to go back. I have an amazing job and boss that is hard to walk away from. I am very lucky to have my boss be a friend and so understanding. But it hasn't stopped me from crying and holding her non stop the past two weeks.

So tomorrow begins another big chapter in our lives. I will keep you posted on how/we do.

So for now, I am off to cuddle my little girl.

Daddy's girl OR Mommy's girl?

As Kevin has a very long commute during the week, I vowed to take care of Parker during the week including all the night feedings. SO the weekends I get a little break. Weekend mornings I head off to the gym and Kevin and Parker spend some quality football time together. I woke up Sat morning to them both on the couch, in their pj's watching college football. It was priceless. He swears she watches the games with him and tells him which teams she likes. We have a little athlete on our hands already I can tell:)

For me, I spent some quality time with her this week putting bows in her hair and taking pics of her with the dogs. Two entirely different activities. I swear she liked mine better.

What do YOU think from the photos? Daddy's girl or Mommy's?

Just because.....

It is hard to take photos of just us 2 with our big camera:(
This face just cracks me up.....she is so curious about the camera
Look mom...white shoes after labor day! How dare you!
On her favorite play mat
Our little ducky after her bath
She LOVES bath time, can't wait for swim lessons to start soon!
Her Flashdance outfit!
Such a sweet little face:)

Here are some fun pics from the past couple of weeks. She is such an enjoyable little girl. So alert. She can now focus so well with her eyes that they follow me wherever I am. A new trick that works for meltdown time now is me singing(poor thing!) to her. I have been making up all kinds of songs...if only people could hear me. She continues her nightly routine of wake-ups almost like clock-work now. I am still pumping and plan on doing so as long as she will take my milk. Hopefully the next child will be easier with the whole breast feeding deal because pumping is SO much work! Our freezers are STACKED.

I have been going to the gym regularly with my friends Michaela and Kristin. Let me tell you, I enjoy that me time so much... Thank you girls for going with me.

Off to change a diaper, do belly time, make dinner, lunches, bath time, feed (her, us, dogs) pump, put her to bed, laundry..... and then to bed.

ALL in that order.

Coug FAN and a little Pumpkin

Before the melt down in the costume:( gosh she looks cute though
meltdown.

my little pumpkin:)
Getting ready for the big game today. LOVES her swing and thank god for it!
TOUCHDOWN! not really, the game hasn't started yet...but she's hopeful:)

WHAT a day! We have Cougar football playing Notre Dame AND Halloween all in one day! So it necessitated 2 outfits:) Lucky for Parker we had just thing for her to wear for both occasions!

Hope you are all enjoying this special day!

BOO!!!!!!!!!

Everyone enjoy this special day! It only comes once a year. Our little pumpkin will be having a little photo shoot shortly so I will post those pics soon. I LOVE Halloween in our neighborhood. Last year we were out of candy by 8 and must have had close to 200 kids come by. We basically just left the door open and kids lined the streets. Made me want to be a kid again:) We had a little surprise of our own Thursday night and today. Kevin's dad and stepmom made a trip over for the weekend and then his brother Brian and wif Bobbi Jo showed up yesterday. I am glad they are here so they can see the madness that ensues in our neighborhood.

Be safe and have a happy time dressing up and enjoy those yummy treats for your tummy:)

My little 2 month old munchkin, or should I say bear?

2 months...as my Dad would say and Zoolander, "she is ridiculously good looking"

ok mom...how long do I have to keep this on

uhm...not sure about this
ok, this is kind of fun
I am over it
phew, let me out:)

Things around here are finally getting back to normal and I have some time to post about Parker's 2 month check-up. Everything went well and she is a healthy and happy baby which could not make us any more proud. I cannot stop taking pictures of her. My mom sent her some adorable outfits recently and I had to have a little photo shoot. Let's just say we only made it to one outfit before she had enough. My mom bought her this ADORABLE little Columbia bear snow suit and had bows from our wedding ribbon (brown and pink polks dots) sewn on it. As you can see from the pictures, she has some growing into it to do, BUT it is so darn cute!!! I am also posting her 2 month photos. I hope to stay on this and do monthly photos of her every month. I have a neat little craft project to make after she turns a year with all her photos:)

Here are her 2 month stats:
9 lbs 10 oz
21 7/8 inches long

She is only in the 25 percentile for her weight and the doctor could see the worry on my face. He told me not to, and that babies change so much all the time and that next visit she could be in the 75 percentile. He said she is a very healthy and happy baby and to keep doing what we are doing. I still think she could eat a little more. She is such a little trickster when it comes to eating. I swear, she could snack all day! Hmmmm....who does that remind you of? :) I don't know how I would be doing this if I was breast feeding from the breast. We would be attached all day. So for now I continue to pump...pump...pump my life away and she continues to get cuter and cuter everyday.

I am going to try and take pics of her in her costume today, I can't wait to take her trick or treating in the future and make costumes and have Halloween parties for her!

What are you you going to be for Halloween??
