A Mexican Thanksgiving!!!!!

SOOOOOO excited for our trip.  We leave tomorrow morning (6 am) for Puerto Vallarta.    We have been to Cabo, Cancun, and Playa del Carmen, but not Puerto.

I was told to stay clear of the "Mexican turkey's." (yes...bad joke)

So for the first time in our lives we will not be having turkey this year on Thanksgiving....instead we will be eating salsa and chips like it's going out of style.

To all my friends and family, we hope you have a Happy Turkey day and we love you!

ANIMALS!!!!!

Our guest Moto-licious for the weekend

Bubbs aka Fatty
We are dog sitting the cutest little pup for the Ringsrud family:)  Their cute little mutt's name is Moto, or as I like to call him MOTOLICIOUS!!

So we have a total of 5 ANIMALS this weekend.

My kind of household:)

For those of you who enjoy the Johnson animals, here are some pics from the weekend.

YOU know you have a PROBLEM when....

you have this many HALLOWEEN DISHES......

Had to share more of my obsession as I was packing away my Halloween decorations.

THEY DID IT!!!! Best MASCARA EVER!!!!

Lancome DID it!  I have finally found the best mascara ever. The brilliant thing about it too, is that it is battery operated like a sonicare toothbrush.  In fact the bristles on the wand vibrate faster than a sonicare.  No more back and forth shoving of the brush to get each and every eyelash.  You simply hold down the little button and place the wand at the base of your lash and move up.  So easy and it gets every eyelash!!!

The battery can be replaced in case it runs out before the mascara does.  The downside is, it's $34 and when the mascara does run out, you have to buy a whole new one.

SO yes, I was a nerd and played around with it to show you how awesome it is.  When a girl finds a beauty product as good as this...she has to share it:)

Lancome Oscillation
$34

Let me know what you think if you get one.

PS Ignore my eyebrows...I need to get them done:)

OverDUE Halloween Costumes Part 2

NIGHT...the dead arrive....

NIGHT Costume #2

DAY costume #1
I think we were a little too scary looking this year...especially compared to our friends at the Halloween party.  We had an awesome night though, and by far won the "scariest costume" award.

Before the party, we enjoyed EASILY close to 200 kids trick or treating.  If you were wondering, yes we were in costume and some of us (Kevin) was even in character:).  We scared a few, but all in good fun of course.

We spent $150 bucks on candy this year and were wiped out by 7:30.  I was even handing out Kevin's fruit roll-ups for his lunches.  After we shut off our lights and closed the blinds....our doorbell still rang.

I really cannot explain the mayhem that ensues on Halloween night in this neighborhood.  Everyone brings their kids into our development and it is just crazy.  Cars and party buses for parents...clogged our street for hours while kids ran from door to door.  At one point, I just stood in our doorway for a half hour with the door open as kids lined up.

I SHOULD have taken pictures of that.  Anyways...only 346 days until my favorite holiday comes back around.

In case anyone was counting..... :)

Pretty FALL Days in Wenatchee:)

I absolutely love our downtown area.  Cobblestone streets, cute shops, great coffee, and little scare crows on ever corner...I cannot get enough of it.  I took some pictures when my co-workers and I walked downtown for lunch the other day.

The other pics were from this past weekend.  We took the dogs down to the river and played with them for most of the morning.  The trees and all their leaves were BEAUTIFUL!

Fall is my favorite and I am sad to see it going.....but we are SO READY for the snow!!!

I VOTED...did you???

It doesn't matter what side you choose, whether you're a Republican, Democrat, Liberal or member of the Green Party....what matters is that it is our right as an American, but more importantly our DUTY to vote.

I hope you all got out there today...or like my state..... got your ballet to the mailman:)

Here's to a better 2009......and a better America.
