THE Pendleton Round-up is an event we look forward to every year. Having never grown up in a small town, or even lived in one place longer than 5 years, I really enjoy this magnified look into small-town life. We bring people every year, and they leave with the same sentiment...it really is a special rodeo. From the fighter jets that fly over your head while The Star Spangled Banner is being sung, to the good 'ol cowboys sitting along the fence...it is everything that makes you proud to be an American.
EVEN better...at night there is a dance and casino that we go to where you gamble not for money my friends...no,no,no not in Pendleton....But for BOOZE! It is always a weekend full of great people watching, great rodeo riding, and always hilarious times.
