Happy Birthday to my best friend...I love you so much.

I am attempting to write
within my words for you
Love words, so unsaid
that they can't be compared

I'm not asking a lot
yet I'd give the whole world
Simply to reflect

Those thoughts are nice

but still not enough

Trip to Seattle!!

SO this is long overdue.....

Kevin and I made a trip over to see friends about a month ago.  We stayed at the Kocher's and had a wonderful weekend!  Friday night we went over to the Juhl's for a bbq and Saturday we went on the Kocher's boat and took it out all the way to Poulsbo!  It was so much fun and it was so great seeing some of my best friends, possibly the last time before Parker arrives.

Thank you for such a fun weekend everyone.  I swear I did not forget to post this:)

AAAH!! Our wonderful friend Erin Coffey Rinabarger came over this weekend from Seattle and took our maternity photos. She really captured who we are with these shots and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! We had a blast frolicking through our friends orchard, a golf course, and not to forget the random pretty blue buildings we found!!

Cave B!!!

So Kevin took me to Cave B! We sat by the pool (107 degrees!), more like sat in the pool. He treated me to their "Mom-to-be" spa package and then to a romantic out-of-this world dinner. I love that we are only 45 minutes from this beautiful place. I felt so special and it had been the first weekend....in a LONG time where I woke up Monday feeling refreshed. I was bummed that I forgot our camera. So here are some pics from their website. Totally recommend this place to EVERYONE! It is right next to The Gorge Ampitheatre too, so you could catch a concert and spend the night in luxury and not in a tent!

surprise weekend....

So earlier this week Kevin let me in on a little secret plan he had for us this weekend. Since this is literally the last and only weekend we have free before Parker's arrival, he said to not make plans. So before dinner with our wonderful friends the Huber's last night, he gave me a gift bag to help me guess about this weekend. It entailed sun screen, 2 cd's, 3 great fashion and gossip mags...and season 6 of Family Guy.....(we are love this show).

So far this morning I have not been allowed to do any chores and was served a magnificent breakfast and have been relaxing. I have not had time to catch up on my blogging and so I was able to do that this morning too! (explains all my postings today) However, he just told me we needed to get going and I had to pack some things.....

hmmmm any guesses? I am so excited!! I will let you all know tomorrow!

Wenatchee Baby Shower!!!

We have been truly blessed to have met such wonderful friends in Wenatchee. I don't even know where to begin on what it meant to have my friends Kristin Eastman and Michaela Riggelman throw a most beautiful shower. From the beautiful colors and amazing food...to the diaper cake and celebrity baby game (which I of course won!)...they thought of it all. I am so excited for all the great memories to come with these girls and everyone that came to the shower. Thank you for making me feel so special.

ERIK Fairleigh!!!

We were so excited to have one of our dearest and closest friends come and visit. We don't see this kid enough and it meant the world that he came all the way up from LA. Erik was Kevin's fraternity brother when we were in college, but coincidentally enough Erik and I were good friends before Kev and I even started dating. Needless to say...the three of us through college were the best of friends. Not much has changed, still the goofy and funny guy he always has been. He is doing extremely well in LA working for Edelman with a ton of people working for him. Can you imagine Erik as your boss??? My how our little Fairleigh has grown up. Love ya Erik and we miss you tons:)

A weekend in Chelan

Every year Sarah, one of my best friends comes over to Chelan to spend some good 'ol vacation time at her parents house on the lake. Ever since we moved to the valley she has invited us over when she is there. SO going on three years now we have made it quite the tradition. My sister loved it so much last year, she flew up for this year. We are so lucky to live so close to so many beautiful places. I heart Chelan. Thanks for another great vacation Sarah! Can't wait for next year.
