From sea to shining sea

Another great thing about moving back to Portland has been the ability to be so close to the coast again. We have made many trips already, and like usual I am way behind on my blogging. SO here are some pics from our trips during Memorial Day and the 4th. Parker really does call the "o-shun" home. However scared I am of tsunamis and sharks...I cannot deny the beauty and peace I feel at the beach. We look forward to many more trips back....inlcuding to our new favorite find...a sleepy and sweet beach town called Neskowin. Hands down my favorite beach town on the coast now! It is south of Tillamook and north of Lincoln City. The hills remind me of the California coast and the cute little town is right on the water. Old beautiful beach homes, with a cute little golf course, great restaurant and town store! Best of all, they had the most adorable 4th of July parade. We will be back for sure with our girls in the near future!
Oh...and the band The xx I cannot get enough of this summer, hope you like:)

Sisters...

The news is in... and what a wonderful Mother's Day Surprise/Gift it was. We will be adding another sweet girl to the Johnson clan! However shocked I was, I couldn't help but smile and say to myself...sisters. There is a very strong bond between two sisters, I know this bond as I too have one.

Oh what joy to have another little girl! My heart is so happy. I'll leave you with the lovely lyrics to this song, as I haven't stopped humming it since Friday:)

Sisters Sisters
There were never such devoted sisters
Never had to have a chaperone "No, sir" I'm there to keep my eye on her
Caring Sharing Every little thing that we are wearing When a certain gentleman arrived from Rome
She wore the dress and I stayed home
All kinds of weather We stick together The same in the rain or sun Two diff'rent faces But in tight places
We think and we act as one Those who've Seen us Know that not a thing could come between us
Many men have tried to split us up but no one can Lord help the mister
Who comes between me and my sister
And Lord help the sister Who comes between me and my man

San Diego, Wenatchee, Easter and a Toddler OH MY

WARNING: LOTS OF PHOTOS!
...but we've been busy

We went to lovely San Diego about a month ago for our dear friend Erik Fairleigh and Keldas wedding. This is where we stayed, which was right next door to the wedding site. Loved the colors!
We had a chance before wedding rehearsals and such to walk around Ocean Beaches.
Loved the old surfer town feel of this area.
At the beach:)
More of our hotel:)
Us at the wedding!
The Fairleighs
The cute groomsman
It was a fun night and a walk down memory lane with all these SAE boys!
Then we were off to visit the Huber family in Wenatchee to celebrate one of my closest friends Jamie at a baby shower that I and her mother threw for her. Parker LOVED playing with Ben and being outside!! Finally SUN!
Love you Jamie! two preggos
Everyone getting serious with the shower game!
Got this great idea from Tara and a shower she threw recently. I just had to make them too. Mine were little monkeys hanging.
Can't wait to meet baby Nate!

Parker, if she was allowed, would have spent ALL night outside!
The adorable Ben
Everyone playing in the sun
Parker in her Easter best
She looked so cute
Easter brunch with Kevins mom and brother, sister in law, and nephew Owen. Meeting the Easter BUNNY
Parker Loved the Easter Bunny

Dying some eggs!
Rice time with Mom
Our little cowgirl. She loves hats.
Movie time
And the best game of all...drawer hopping.

Phew....sorry for the million pics...but from being pregnant, to traveling all the time, holidays, and then having a toddler, I do not know where our time goes anymore! Hope you are all well and I hope it won't be another month before I post again;)

Parker's growing up

My poor little blog. I want to apologize, but when you find out what we've been up to, you might just agree that there's no need for apologies. For now, until I can share more:), here are some priceless pics of my sweet little Parker and all her silly little faces!

Welcome to the toddler stage!

There's a GOOD reason I've been absent......

Yup...that's right...we are expecting!

Took two tests...

And tried to get the big sis to pose was almost impossible,

Until Daddy held her.

Can I just tell you how excited I am to be able to do this again?

Below is our first glimpse of our lil' Pumpkin....I am ELATED to be having an October baby. It is my favorite month in case none of you knew this:)

ps: I have also been lying low because of how AWFUL I have felt. Never have I felt so nauseous and exhausted in my entire life. It is ten times harder feeling like this AND having a toddler. I am 11 weeks this week so here's hoping this is almost over. Thank goodness for my anti-nausea pills from the doc last week.

Minus the sickness, we are walking on sunshine friends:)
